Physical therapy professional services provided by licensed therapists in the treatment of a disease, injury or disability. Such services could include specific exercises, range of motion, stretching, massage heat, cold, ultrasound and radiant energy to promote recovery or treatment. Occupational Therapy professional services provided by licensed therapists in the treatment of persons having physical or mental disabilities through interventions directed towards developing daily living skills and work readiness and performance. Speech Therapy-professional services provided by licensed therapists in the evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation of patients having disorders involving speech, hearing and swallowing. Social Work professional services provided by licensed personnel in the treatment of ill or disabled patients. Such services may include counseling, client-centered advocacy, crisis intervention and the provision of needed information and education. Home Health Aid paraprofessional services provided by certified HHAs. Such services may include hands-on personal care, simple procedures as an extension of therapy or nursing services, and assistance in ambulating or exercises. Some limited light housekeeping and meal preparation may be performed. Homemaking paraprofessional services provided by approved personnel. Such services may include household chores that include housekeeping, meal planning and preparation, shopping assistance, and routine household activities. A homemaker may not provide hands-on personal care to a client. Companion/Sitter/Escort-paraprofessional services provided approved personnel. Such services may include friendly visiting, accompanying client on trips and outings and the preparation and serving of meals to the client. All services provided by professional caregivers are under the direction of the patient's private physician. Registered nurses manage all cases and supervise care. We also provide in-hospital private duty care, which offers close, personal attention and reassurance in an unfamiliar and often frightening environment. Our office hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 4:30 pm. Our professional team is available 24 hours per day, 7 days per week* During hours when the office is closed and during the weekends and holidays, the on-call coordinator is available by telephone 24 hours per day.
